Words that Burn Bright

By Daksh Bajaj

PROMPT — Ask Me.

Don’t bottle up the pain in your heart,

Cry it out, let feelings play their part.

Don’t hold the fury burning bright,

Weave it into words for inner light.

Pour out all that burden,

Once in a while for certain.

Let those prickly tears flow,

For you to grow.

Talk to me or write it down,

It’s okay to have a breakdown.

No matter speak or shout,

But please vent out.

Daksh Bajaj is a college student, while expressing his emotions in the form of poetry. He writes from Sonipat, Haryana, India.
