Should I Stay or Should I go?

By Giovanni Gallo

PROMPT—No one noticed ...

She looked over the cliff as the clock ticked.

Thinking about her life,

was it really worth continuing?

Her time struck zero and she waited,

for someone to come save her.

No one showed up.

Looking upon the bright blue sky,

with the sun gazing over the lake,

she decided to stay,

just a little longer.

Stay and give it one more chance.

Giovanni Gallo is in high school and taking a poetry class. He really enjoys the class and decided to submit one of his favorite poems that he created in this class. Giovanni writes from Pennsylvania.
