Staying Safe
We are staying safe in a world of chaos,
seeking justice on a daily basis.
Supporting each other helps us heal.
It is great to express ourselves,
with courageous strength,
amidst the stress
of our daily lives.
Trails
Winding trails in the forest
led me home.
The breadcrumbs were eaten
along the way. I could smell food
cooking in the distance.
I knew I was almost there.
