By CJ The Tall Poet
PROMPT — The way I see it ...
Devouring poorly planned adaptations
May motivate one’s creativity
The blandness blended well
With detachable hearts
From individuals whose only passion is financial gain
A certain genre’s demise
Should have given certain creators
An answer of absolute importance
Yet it seems there was no contact at all
Which caused some concerns to manifest
Within some viewers
This sort of artform
Provided a sense of escapism
but the majority now leaves
Bitter reminders in consumer's mouths
About the real world
The industry is experiencing a decline
A few suggestions have been made
Hopefully a renaissance of genuine creativity
Can cleanse the wave of passionless writing
